Beeswax

Our beeswax comes from our back yard and our neighbors, in the Avon Hills of central Minnesota. We raise our bees as best we can and have been converting spaces surrounding our bees to native prairie plants to give them tastier pollen sources while also rejuvenating the land!

Organic Cacao Butter

Organic cacao butter gives Chapacabra a velvety feel on your lips and a higher melting point (than oils) – to prevent the dreaded pocket melt! Though it doesn’t taste chocolaty, some say the smell reminds them of chocolate.

Organic Coconut Oil

Organic coconut oil, like the cocoa butter, makes our lip balm silky smooth. It also hydrates your lips.

Sunflower Oil

Wait! This isn’t organic?! No, but it’s local. We buy our sunflower oil at our local food co-op, the Minnesota Street Market. They know what’s up. Sunflower oil provides hydration and extra smoothness.

Vitamin e

Vitamin e aids in the healing of damaged tissues.

Organic Peppermint Oil

So fresh and so clean. Sure, there are other flavors, but mint is the best!

Non-Nano Uncoated Zinc Oxide

A natural source of full spectrum sun protection that is also reef safe, non-nano uncoated zinc oxide is often the main ingredient in mineral sun screens.
